A cargo ship on the port of Busan hit a huge crane, causing disruptions in cargo loading and unloading
operations.According to the Korea Coast Guard and the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters, the
157,706-ton container ship “Milano Bridge-150” hit the container crane numbers 81, 85 and 84 at 2:50 p.m.
The collision caused the 85th crane to collapse, while the 81-84 crane was pushed out of the rail and
cannot be moved. Due to the impact of the accident, Crane No. 81 is also said to be in danger of further
collapse. The dock operator said that it would take a few months for the full normal operation of the
